Question: Can a life review be either formal or informal?

Yes. It can be less formal in nature because some individuals prefer that. The life review is done according to your desires and is designed to suit your needs. It is not set up to disturb you but to give you hope in moving ahead so you can see your options. You notice your unfulfilled desires and you choose what to do next.

Physsie went through a life review but did not see it as that. She felt she went to a short movie that was not a big deal. And when she speaks about it, she refers to everything she has learned about herself since she has been on the other side rather than speaking of an identifiable event or movie.

Physsie says, “I can’t tell you exactly when I did a life review because everything seems to be more of an ongoing process. Whenever something comes to mind, it makes sense and is put into perspective for me. I now understand that I could have been more independent, more self-determining, and less able to be swayed by others.”
